The Worst Of Hollywood
KEMO-TV 20, San Francisco
1972 (?) - 197?
10:00 pm (?) / Friday (?)
Produced in affiliation with (or by?) Dan Farris of The Cinema Shop, this long-missed treasure showed the more interesting "B" and Poverty Row movies from the 30s and 40s. A lot, if not all, of the titles were in the Kit Parker Films catalog, so it is likely KPF was also involved in the production.
Can't recall the host's name - Bob something, I think - but I remember running into him in downtown Novato once. He was very friendly, considering that I was a geeky teen fanboy babbling nonstop at him about all my favorite movies.
They had a minor scandal once when a screening of the viciously anti-Japanese late-WWII feature SAMURAI prompted letters of complaint.
