All Night Movie Go Round Hosted by J. Brown KNTV 11, San Jose 1973 - 197? All night, 5 or 6 nights a week J. Brown moved from KGSC-TV to KNTV 11 when the latter went 24-hour. Except for the title being changed from Night Owl Theater to All-Night Movie-Go-Round, the show was pretty much the same, owl bric-a-brac and all. At the time of the move, KNTV had better movie packages, but KGSC-TV matched them in that department soon enough. I don't know how long J. Brown lasted at KNTV. My TV Guides show all-night movies playing on KNTV up until at least March of 1975. But a June, 1975 edition shows KNTV's last movie starting at around 11:30 pm on both weeknights and weekends. There's a gap in my run of TV Guides until June of 1976, by which time KNTV was once again running movies all night. I doubt that J. Brown was involved at that point, but it's possible.
